Corney’s Corndogs

Brand Identity.

When looking for inspiration for a food truck, I stumbled upon a festival that happens in Bristol Indiana, a corndog festival. It happens every year and is beloved by all that attend. This immediately inspired me to create Corney’s.

With some research, I found that in 1957, Lets All Go to the Lobby was released. This ad was made with silly cartoon food, and I had to create something inspired by them. I then based my brand around the silliness of both the corndog festival and the ad characters.

I wanted a vintage vibe, so to do that I used patterns and shapes that were popular in the designs of the 50s, like the dots and triangles, along with bold and bright colors.
